Ffd Plugin Sketchup







































Ffd Plugin Sketchup is a plugin for the free SketchUp modeling program. If you have a 3D printer, or know someone who does, you can use this plugin to create models that are compatible with a printer. Once a model has been created and saved as an STL file using Ffd Plugin Sketchup, the file will be ready for printing! You'll also find documentation about how to use the plugins on their website. You can find more information on their GitHub page as well. Model of the Propeller Head: The model of the prop's head was printed at a .15mm layer height on a MakerBot Replicator 2 with a 0.2mm nozzle. Material used was a nylon filament from ABS Robotics. The time between starting and completing this project is roughly 5 hours, including uploading to GitHub and finding required files from my SketchUp files. The time to complete this project with no prior knowledge of 3D modeling or printing is about 36 hours, as I spent most of that time learning SketchUp as well as printing techniques. About SketchUp: SketchUp is a free 3D modeling software program that you can download here . You can also use a normal document scanner to scan real objects and then model them in Sketchup. Once you have downloaded and installed the software, launch it. There are many tutorials available online to learn SketchUp, but I recommend the following video on Youtube . SketchUp is similar to Microsoft Paint in that you use the mouse to draw shapes. However, instead of drawing lines, circles, rectangles, etc... you are drawing 3D shapes. This makes it difficult for people who are not used to using this type of program. To make it easier for you, I've created a step by step tutorial for this project. Stratasys is an equipment manufacturer that sells products to 3D printing vendors. They offer both desktop and mobile 3D printers (printers with built in cameras). Their products range in price from 30,000 to 150,000 dollars each. The chief product line is called MakerBot Replicator 2 . Most of the parts needed for this project are available through their website. The MakerBot Replicator 2 is a 3D printer with a built in camera and a touchscreen. There are two models of the Replicator 2 available, the Mini and the full sized version. Currently, both of these models cost approximately 32,000 dollars each. The company I bought my MakerBot from had customized the electronics from their smaller printer into this full sized printer that cost more money. When completed, I made a video of it printing.
